Now THAT is how we Muslims should speak. Kudos to whoever wrote that!

On forgiving people and letting go of the painful memories.

If I were to write the story of my pain,
I’d have to use blood instead of ink.
Draw pictures of charcoal black visions,
opposite to ramblings that speak of heartache and loneliness.
Millions of words clog up my mind but they all scream the same thing - PAIN.
My heart is congested,
my soul as if demented,
and my mind gone blank.
Will I survive another day?
Only by a miracle of He Whose mercy I place my soul with.
End this pain, please Master.
Erase the memories.
Don’t let my soul crave for the beauty this world has to offer.
And for the beauty that I have purposely let pass me by.
Kill my feelings,
kill all my desires.
Degrade me from a human to a creature that merely submits, obeys, and lives without dreams or aspirations,
kill my heart Master,
if this has to be the way.
